To Believe
A dream designed to blow your mind,
Fate forged souls in blissful spite,
Believing in two paths aligned.
Cosmic blonde, stellar eyes, fine behind,
Her smile could show a blind man sight
Of a dream designed to blow his mind.
Finally alone, physically entwined,
An instant split by the word, “night” -
Wondering if two paths aligned.
Maligned minds see that love’s not blind
But a cherry seed, spat with delight
On our dreams designed to blow our minds.
Reflective images kind to remind
Me of my plight; our instinctive right
To hope that two paths have aligned.

Wanting to be wanted far outshined
by our communally primal fight
for a dream designed to blow my mind.
To believe that two paths align.
